Wang Songlin, vice dean of the national electrical and electronic teaching base, vice dean of the national electrical and electronic demonstration center, is a full professor in the School of Aerospace Science and Technology (SAST). He is also the director of the course “Circuit, Signal and System”. His main research area include, but not limited to, circuit and system CAD and design automation, dedicated digital and analog hybrid integrated circuit design, and power management ASICs. Prof. Wang has hosted and participated in many research projects funded by ministry of defense, including “Towards High Performance, High Integration Level Digital and Analog Hybrid Circuit Design-Key Technologies and Theories”, “Fundamental Theory and Chip Design on Submicron Analog IC”, “Design Techniques of Photoelectric Sensor and LED Integrated Circuit”, “Whole Machine Based Optimization, Design and Manufacturing Technologies in Military Electronic Field”, and “DSP Based 14 Bit A/D and D/A Converter Design”. In recent years, Prof. Wang has 10 textbooks published by higher education press, and science press. Among these books, one book is granted the “High Quality Textbook” for national higher education, 2 books wins the second class prize of the provincial excellent textbook, 1 book is selected to be the planed textbooks of the “Tenth Five-Year Plan”, and 2 books are chosen to be the planed textbooks of the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan”. Prof. Wang has also published over 20 research papers, and is granted multiple patents for his innovations and inventions in the electronic field. So far over 30 master students graduated under the guidance of Prof. Wang.
