Liu Yanming, doctor of engineering, born in September 1961, is a full professor (doctoral supervisor) in the School of Aerospace Science and Technology (SAST). From Xidian University, Dr. Liu received his bachelor degree in computer software in 1989, a master degree in computer application in 1993, and a Ph.D. degree in communications engineering in the School of Telecommunications Engineering in 2003. He has been working in Xidian University as a faculty since 1993. Dr. Liu has held dozens of major research projects, e.g., “Wireless Local Area Network”, “Key Technologies in Providing Intelligent Services by the Communication Network” funded by national 863 high-tech project, “Object-Oriented Analyzing, Designing and Testing Technologies for Business Software Used in Smart Networks” funded by national natural science foundation, “Techniques for Evaluating the Efficiency of an Expertise System in a Telecommunication Network” funded by a “Ninth Five-Year Plan” pre-research project of ministry of defense, “Integrated Network Management Oriented Decision Support System Assisted by Military Command and the Evaluation Techniques” funded by “Tenth Five-Year Plan” pre-research project of ministry of defense, “IPV6-Based Network Security for Next Generation Networks” funded by “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” pre-research project of ministry of defense, “Research on Intelligent Networks” and “PPL Language Used in Platform of Intelligent Network Service” funded by ISN state key lab.
